So I woke up and finally remembered what I was meant to write about! I was watching The Simple Life one evening when this message came up:



One can only imagine how confused I was! In other news, Steve ([info]totally49) told me that they're renaming UKTV2 to 'Dave'....



They claim 'The name is based on the idea that "everyone knows a bloke called Dave". Changing the channel name to Dave enables us to create a strong and noisy personality for the channel that immediately aligns us with our core 16-34 male audience. ' What are they trying to imply by all this?

And as for 'Dave' while I am not of this opinion, everyone I know thinks anyone called Dave is a complete twat, which is also why someone I know that wishes to be called David hates the name (though people do think it of him more than any other)

The only Tv Dave I can think of is the bigoted ginger on War at Home.

What does UKTV2/Dave show exactly?

Dave's get a bad rep! I added a funkeh 'i' in Dave to make it sound a little more friendlier!

I imagine Dave plays stuff like 'Men Behaving Badly'... 'Two Pints of Lager... etc etc! I'm not really sure what it shows but usually it's stuff you don't mind watching whilst trying to get to sleep!

See the giraffe suggests Zoo Vet, Animal Park and Animal Hospital Goes Wild (if that exists), but the name suggests the Giraffe was brought home after a drunken night and nobody knows where they would have gotten it.

The compromise..?
