“Hey, this is David here. Currently in the United States. I don't know how long I've got on this, so I'll go ahead and talk. I promised I'd do this a few days ago but I never got around to it, so I'll do it now. Just in the States at the moment, not done really that much that anyone needs to know about. To be honest, I dont really expect many people to listen to this, except for.. you know, I expect Steve maybe. But that's really about it. But if you do, leave a comment. And Steve: you leave a special comment telling me that you've listened to this and you've acknowledged... yeah. That sort of stuff.

So, I was at Universal Studios; it was yesterday infact, and I came off the Terminator ride, and this is a funny story. And of course, everyone knows that Arnie is the Terminator. We all came out, we were in the shop, and there was this little boy, and he goes "Aww, I never knew Sean Connery played the Terminator". I thought that was kind of amusing, and if you didn't then... you didn't I guess, and thats about it.

This file's an MP3, so if you can't play it, I don't know whats wrong. Well, you wont know you can't play it unless you listen to this, unless, in which case, you <u>are</u> playing this and of course, it does work.

Also, if anyone could, could anyone find out if this is only a friends post, or if this post is available to everyone, because I'd liked to know. Maybe one of you could log out and say "Yeah, yeah, you can do this in Friends", or anonymously or whatever.

Okay, well, I hope everyone's doing good, if you want to leave any comments and maybe I'll post my phone [<em>voicepost</em>] another day. Goodbye!”

Attention whore much?

And how could you not say I would listen? I feel so betrayed.

*runs away crying*

You should have hit that kid upside the head. Sean Connery? C'mon.

Holy shit. It's like that letter Stewie wrote to Brian in the ep of Family Guy where they go to the middle east/europe.

If only you talked about your sweater!

If you can see this, then this post is not friends only, and is public. If you can't, then...I don't know what the problem is, but I guess it doesn't matter, because it's not like you'll see it any way.

Post acknowledged! You sounded slightly awkward at the beginning of the post, but I guess its expected from anyone, its hard to talk casually to a computer. Sounds like you're having fun over in America (lucky goit, as [info]maidenite would probably say) and I hope you're having fun. I transcribed the post, and I used a bit of HTML, and it turns out... HTML aint so good. So... damn.

yeah, i guess i did sound awkward, it's like talking to a brick wall though. the questions going through your head 'Why am i talking to a wall?' 'Why isn't it responding?' 'Does it really care what i'm doing?' and so forth. Thanks for transcribing! now you can tell as many deaf people to come and read my phone post and they won't feel left out!. You'll get a super special acknowledgement in my next one

ps. tried ringing you earlier today, no answer so will use phone card for a phone post

Yeah, thats just exactly the reason I'm uncomfortable talking on answer phones as well. But oh well. And yes, the deaf people can now comprehend! As well as the people without speakers! And the people who fail to understand MP3s, or just can't download it! Muaaa! Now we can monopolise the market!

Sorry about not being in, I went out looking to buy a new desk... didn't find any though... :(

Sounds like you are having fun! This voice thing makes me think of those press conference things! lol. Is it just me or have you got a slightly American accent going on there?

I listened and was proud to do do! I remember when I went on the Terminator ride my dad freaked me out because I was listening to the warnings before you get on and there's something about apendages or something so I asked him what that meant, he replying, 'it means that if you grow a trunk to tell someone.' That really freaked me out when I was a kid and I sat almost frozen on the ride waiting to grow a trunk... freaky.

lol... funny story, you should have said 'I aint going on this fricking ride' and he could have slapped you! (another fun story)

On another note, I saw Jack Black kick Will Ferrel's dog over that bridge yesterday (in Anchorman!)

When I saw that I was stunned! Just goes to show you DON@T get Jack Black angry.
