My internet sucks... I hate that I'm paying for it and half the time it doesn't work... last night it just chucked me off and I cried a little inside! Remember that one weekend where I couldn't get online at all? and everyone at university couldn't get on... surprisingly enough they're not open at weekends :@. I'm back on now so fingers crossed that it stays on! *rockandroll* (I don't know why but everything I learnt about sentence structure failed when writing this entry)

More importantly... I don't know why but my right thigh randomly hurts... either my jeans are too tight or somebody has been punching me in the groin whilst I sleep... the latter I of which I wouldn't be surprised... Actually I'd be sort of surprised if I found out that was true... 'cause that'd be kind of nasty!

At least now I can spend the rest of the day hanging around with no jeans on

New Year would usually see myself and Steve (totally49) watching various TV shows and playing video games until the New Year passed when we would look at each other 5 minutes late and say 'oh yeah I forgot... Happy New Year'... (with the exception of the time we went to Souter's for new year and watched Ian pwn on Dance Dance Revolution) Being a gazillion miles away means that isn't gonna happen this year so I apologise in advance if I don't turn up at your door.

Anyways I was in the shower trying to think of a a few 'best of's' I could put on here that really defined 2007... I couldn't really think of many so maybe I'll have another shower and think of some more.

Fireworks depress me, usually I get around with being colour blind, it's not really an inconvenience unless I accidentally buy pink t-shirts. When it comes to fireworks though I feel like I'm missing out on quite a bit :(. Watching the fireworks tonight from some boardwalk and all I can see were white and blue fireworks which make it rather dull.

I wish there were someone there who wouldn't feel stupid saying (and perhaps sign languaging because that'd be hillarious!):

'blue'
'green'
'that ones red!'

My laptop is acting up a little bit... well mainly the clock, I looked down to see that it was 6:00am and immediately figured something was wrong. I know I had dinner late but just how late did I have it?! No no, something was not right... this is almost as bad as the time I got up for University at 4am thinking I accidentally slept in til' 4pm! I quickly searched google for 'what time it is' and found this site. My computer must have put itself forward like gazillion hours!

Wow, that's not really exciting enough to warrant a post on it's own! :( *thinks*

The weather here in Florida is really indecisive, I woke up this morning feelin' quite a chill out so put on my jumper hoping it'd stay that way. Afterall, a chill in Florida makes a nice change. However, by the time it got to 11am I was absolutely boiling and even without my jumper I was feeling the heat. Sometimes I feel like hurling abuse at the sun... maybe I'll just go spray a bunch of aerosol cans to pwn it!

I was at this place last night called Celebration near the Disney Land area and they have this thing where they try make it snow (see picture right). I expected there to be some kinda of snow machine pumping out lots and lots of fake snow but no, they were pumping out bits of foam and soap. Everywhere smelt of Fairy Liquid and there were little kids running and rolling around in the stuff. I guess a lotta children who live here don't see snow (well maybe they will now thanks to my aerosol spraying) and well, love soap snow!

I apologise in advance for the blurryness of pictures... only those which I take outside do not come out blurry (and the only pictures I took of that are outside are ones of Luke and Lewis (lew_v1) at the train station!

Anyway as Luke was coming back from University he decided to postpone our regular cinema trip which would occur on Friday to Saturday... alas... a very dull and java related Friday I had! (I did do laundry though!!! )

Nevertheless I met up with the previously mentioned along with Kinnear, Steve (totally49) and Ian! We travelled afar to Centertainment by means of tram where we chilled in the cinema bar for a bit drinking Coca Cola and various other beverages (Luke spilling his in a horrible table knocking incident). The funny anecdote of the day would happen to be when Ian saw the flashing button on a games machine... upon further inspection he pressed the collect button and out popped thirty two quid in glorious pound coins! Although... promises drinks and dance dancing were never recieved!

Eventually we ended up seeing Death at a Funeral which was good... although perhaps Ian and Kinnear enjoyed it far more than they should have! I slid down in my seat a few times knowing that people in the cinema could hear their booming laugh even though the film itseld wasn't being funny.

Anyway I've just come back from town where I got some food and nipped into Waterstones to get a Java book for my course... however as we saw yesterday this book was too good to miss.... but by god how I love Meerkat Manor!  Anyway there is a lot of Java to be cracking on with and little Half-Life 2 to be playing! (unlike last night)

EDIT: so yeah the picture is all messed up and is out of place on my livejournal but you're gonna have to deal with it!. I can't be bothered to move it around the post!

Ugh it's a sign that you need to install Macromedia Fireworks when you want to make a new display picuture and the only option available is Paint and it comes out all crappy quality!! (Adobe Fireworks is it now?! dang....) EDIT: Fireworks installed and display pic no longer all weird! yayyy! *waves arms*

Anyways... I had this weird dream last night.... I dreamt that I met James Earl Jones in Starbucks where he proposed to me his latest book which happened to be a self entitled cook book and joint venture with Ainsley Harriot.... being  a dream version of myself I eagerly egged him on... Little else do I remember about this vivid dream but perhaps it could be a foretelling of things to come in the future?

So it'ls 3am (I feel the great need to watch Roger Moore for some reason) and I've just arrived back from this American Football game that a whopping 3 people polled me to go to! I figured I'd update now so everyone knows that afterwards I'm gonna fall asleep and it's gonna be gooood!. Anyways.... the ball game!

College Football is exactly how you'd imagine it... played in college... and upon arrival of the University of Florida campus you're pretty much greeted by everything you see in teen college movies (I guess those things have to be based on real life to some extent!) The stadium itself... The Ben(ny) Hill Stadium (lolz) was pretty darned big! bigger than Bramall lane! The actual pitch or whatever you play American Football on is quite smaller, at least smaller than a regular football pitch so this was generally a good thing as I was able to see what the heck was going on!.

Oh how I was so wrong...

The pre-shows were great! They had everything cheesy like you hope they would! A marching band that forms a map of Florida on the field... cheerleaders throwing each other round and an American National Anthem... they even had two Fighter Jets fly over the stadium making a huge roarrrrrrrr. Unfortunately as soon as kick off began I had lost much attention... I was just quite confused by the whole ordeal... in fact I would have probably been less confused if I had chose to spend 3 hours reading 'A Brief History of Time'... however that wasn't an option in my poll.... All I know is that (and you can see in the video) there was a guy two rows down who supported the opposite team to everyone else in the area... which made him very unpopular! Now in England I'm sure some fat guy would have probably walked up to him and tried to nut him or rip his internal organs in half but over here there is slightly more sportsmanship and cheese so people just shouted stuff at him instead!

So I have the option of a free ticket to see some American Football game on Saturday... I don't understand the sport... and don't really want to. understand it... all I know is that it's a great medium for motivational inspirational movies... however I realised it would give me something to write in my blog if I go. (It would also appease our old PE teacher Mr Tartt - who said I was the best hooker (Not this kind) he ever saw!)
