I don't see why guys can't go together to see films like Made of Honour?! Does it come off as gay if we all sit in a dark room and watch a movie that has some kind of romantic plot in it? It's not like watching Patrick Dempsey makes me want to snog the guy who is sat next to me! I like Patrick as of late... with every episode of Grey's Anatomy I watch as well as seeing Enchanted I can't help but thinking 'yeah he's a good actor' So forgive me if I want to see this movie!
Iron Man had one thing that Made of Honour probably wouldn't have... (as well as guns, superheroes, gwyneth paltrow, cheesy stan lee cameos) and that's a new Indy trailer! Which was rather exciting despite just being a mish-mash of random clips! I can't help but feel excited that this film, which I have been looking forward to for the past five years (ever since I told Alex Hemsley that they were gonna make a fourth movie in Y10 Maths) is out in twenty days! Twenty days! with sleep that's like two weeks! and with all the time eating food that's like 10 days! Weekends of course make it like 6 days! Not to mention the time I'm gonna be playing GTA... that's like 3 days away! and of course showering... gonna feel about 20 minutes away!

More importantly... I don't know why but my right thigh randomly hurts... either my jeans are too tight or somebody has been punching me in the groin whilst I sleep... the latter I of which I wouldn't be surprised... Actually I'd be sort of surprised if I found out that was true... 'cause that'd be kind of nasty!
At least now I can spend the rest of the day hanging around with no jeans on
Pictures to come shortly!
OH MAN I'm just kidding, there are no pictures! I bet you were all 'Oh no wai!? He's gonna upload pictures!? That'd be real sweet! I can't wait to see!'

Anyways I was in the shower trying to think of a a few 'best of's' I could put on here that really defined 2007... I couldn't really think of many so maybe I'll have another shower and think of some more.
Shine - Take That
I've been an absolute spastic for this song and whenever I hear it I feel the urge to jump around and dance all happy and shiny. Take That have been my guilty pleasure and I'm sure they'll continue to be through to 2008.
Other songs that have been 'eeee awesome'
Same Mistake - James Blunt
Whistle For The Choir - The Fratellis
Elevate Myself - Grandaddy
Against All Odds - The Postal Service
I know the latter was released in 2004 however it was only discovered when my friend Alex sent it to me this year and ever since myself and Steve lurved it.
Best Album of 2007
All The Lost Souls - James Blunt
It's only been three months since this album was released but I am deepy in love with every song on it. It got a lot of stick from people but I personally don't have a problem with it... and neither does Dwyre! It's a shame he isn't touring near anywhere I am... i'll take that as a sign Mr Blunt!
Other rockin' albums
Another Side - John Barrowman (booyah!)
Twelve Stops and Home - The Feeling
Back To Black - Amy Winehouse
Beautiful World - Take That
Stardust
This movie rocked, I saw it a whopping three times in the cinema (as I went with three different groups of people) and enjoyed it everytime. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me feel jubilant and ineffible. Plus Rupert Everett was in it! It's funny and gay
Little Miss Sunshine
Smokin' Aces

Best Tv Show of 2007
Brothers & Sisters
Every episode of Brothers & Sisters was like a movie packed into 45 minutes and it was bee-you-ti-full! Some episodes made me awfully happy where as some episodes made the feel the opposite. I like that! It makes a nice change from all the action and sci-fi
Tv Classsss
The Big Bang Theory
The Sarah Silverman Program
The second half of Lost
Boston Legal
Best Documentary Tv in 2007
Meerkat Manor
You know how lame you are when you have a 'Best Documentary' section on your website... but these needed to go somewhere. I fsckin' love Meerkat Manor! For a solid thirty minutes I have the biggest smile on my face (unless something goes horribly wrong in the manor :( )
Only one other documentary style tv show I loved in 2007 and that was 'Long Way Down' which just plain rawked!
Finally, Best Joke about a microwave 2007

Fireworks depress me, usually I get around with being colour blind, it's not really an inconvenience unless I accidentally buy pink t-shirts. When it comes to fireworks though I feel like I'm missing out on quite a bit :(. Watching the fireworks tonight from some boardwalk and all I can see were white and blue fireworks which make it rather dull.
I wish there were someone there who wouldn't feel stupid saying (and perhaps sign languaging because that'd be hillarious!):
'blue'
'green'
'that ones red!'

The weather here in Florida is really indecisive, I woke up this morning feelin' quite a chill out so put on my jumper hoping it'd stay that way. Afterall, a chill in Florida makes a nice change. However, by the time it got to 11am I was absolutely boiling and even without my jumper I was feeling the heat. Sometimes I feel like hurling abuse at the sun... maybe I'll just go spray a bunch of aerosol cans to pwn it! I was at this place last night called Celebration near the Disney Land area and they have this thing where they try make it snow (see picture right). I expected there to be some kinda of snow machine pumping out lots and lots of fake snow but no, they were pumping out bits of foam and soap. Everywhere smelt of Fairy Liquid and there were little kids running and rolling around in the stuff. I guess a lotta children who live here don't see snow (well maybe they will now thanks to my aerosol spraying) and well, love soap snow!

After a fair few attempts to go back to sleep for a quick nap I felt somewhat uncomfortable and noticed that I had a laptop cable between my legs. I don't know where it came from but it must have been there all night :S.
Eventually I begrudgingly got up and had a shower. Without my showers in the morning I don't know what I'd do, no matter how tired I may be they always help me wake up (that may be due to fact I spend half an hour at a time in there).
I don't understand, who has the shower on the highest temperature setting? If I have it any higher than half way I hop around screaming madly. (Hot water + naked body = no) Maybe there are a bunch of people out there who have it on full blast and are still like 'actually... this is too cold'
Decided not to get a Christmas Tree this year due to the fact that there's really nowhere to put it once we've done with it however we've settled with this make shift tree. I don't know what it is but it's plastic! Best kind!

Anyway as Luke was coming back from University he decided to postpone our regular cinema trip which would occur on Friday to Saturday... alas... a very dull and java related Friday I had! (I did do laundry though!!! )
Nevertheless I met up with the previously mentioned along with Kinnear, Steve (
Eventually we ended up seeing Death at a Funeral which was good... although perhaps Ian and Kinnear enjoyed it far more than they should have! I slid down in my seat a few times knowing that people in the cinema could hear their booming laugh even though the film itseld wasn't being funny.
Anyway I've just come back from town where I got some food and nipped into Waterstones to get a Java book for my course... however as we saw yesterday this book was too good to miss.... but by god how I love Meerkat Manor! Anyway there is a lot of Java to be cracking on with and little Half-Life 2 to be playing! (unlike last night)
EDIT: so yeah the picture is all messed up and is out of place on my livejournal but you're gonna have to deal with it!. I can't be bothered to move it around the post!

Anyways... I had this weird dream last night.... I dreamt that I met James Earl Jones in Starbucks where he proposed to me his latest book which happened to be a self entitled cook book and joint venture with Ainsley Harriot.... being a dream version of myself I eagerly egged him on... Little else do I remember about this vivid dream but perhaps it could be a foretelling of things to come in the future?

College Football is exactly how you'd imagine it... played in college... and upon arrival of the University of Florida campus you're pretty much greeted by everything you see in teen college movies (I guess those things have to be based on real life to some extent!) The stadium itself... The Ben(ny) Hill Stadium (lolz) was pretty darned big! bigger than Bramall lane! The actual pitch or whatever you play American Football on is quite smaller, at least smaller than a regular football pitch so this was generally a good thing as I was able to see what the heck was going on!.
Oh how I was so wrong...
The pre-shows were great! They had everything cheesy like you hope they would! A marching band that forms a map of Florida on the field... cheerleaders throwing each other round and an American National Anthem... they even had two Fighter Jets fly over the stadium making a huge roarrrrrrrr. Unfortunately as soon as kick off began I had lost much attention... I was just quite confused by the whole ordeal... in fact I would have probably been less confused if I had chose to spend 3 hours reading 'A Brief History of Time'... however that wasn't an option in my poll.... All I know is that (and you can see in the video) there was a guy two rows down who supported the opposite team to everyone else in the area... which made him very unpopular! Now in England I'm sure some fat guy would have probably walked up to him and tried to nut him or rip his internal organs in half but over here there is slightly more sportsmanship and cheese so people just shouted stuff at him instead!

I dont know if this transcribes itself - apparently it does - so Steve might be out of a job. Anyway I'm still a bit of a - down and not knowing what to do tomorrow. Whether or not to go to this football game or not - I don't know it's a bit silly anyway. So, now I shall be off and I hope everyone is having a good day. Take care!” Transcribed by: |

So I have the option of a free ticket to see some American Football game on Saturday... I don't understand the sport... and don't really want to. understand it... all I know is that it's a great medium for motivational inspirational movies... however I realised it would give me something to write in my blog if I go. (It would also appease our old PE teacher Mr Tartt - who said I was the best hooker (Not this kind) he ever saw!)

However this day out of some strange retardedness a little dog came running out a nearby house barking at Misty!... Major Woofs (misty) wasn't too bothered as she just wanted to get home! All of a sudden I noticed that this little dog wasn't tied up or anything and it began running accross the road in order to bark at Misty much closer... the next thing I know a car is coming and i'm suddenly in an awkward situation! like 'AWKWARDDDD' awkward!
Davie says:
jus' because you like putting smarties tubes on your cat and making it walk like a robot- down the stairs
Daft... (Kev) says:
do you seriously do that steve?
Stee says:
But Robot Cats are the greatest!
Davie says:
they are!
Davie says:
especially when they meow and you're like 'STFU!!!'
Anyway back to epicz conclusions... I tried to grab this dog so it wouldn't get hit but to no surprise it ran all crazily even moreso in the road! Now I looked like a prat trying to catch this tiny dog whilst this car just waited in the middle of the road!
Needless to say!.... I had the last laugh!
....because two kids came out and caught the begger!
My anecdotes are lame! and now I must shower!
