After a fair few attempts to go back to sleep for a quick nap I felt somewhat uncomfortable and noticed that I had a laptop cable between my legs. I don't know where it came from but it must have been there all night :S.
Eventually I begrudgingly got up and had a shower. Without my showers in the morning I don't know what I'd do, no matter how tired I may be they always help me wake up (that may be due to fact I spend half an hour at a time in there).
I don't understand, who has the shower on the highest temperature setting? If I have it any higher than half way I hop around screaming madly. (Hot water + naked body = no) Maybe there are a bunch of people out there who have it on full blast and are still like 'actually... this is too cold'
Decided not to get a Christmas Tree this year due to the fact that there's really nowhere to put it once we've done with it however we've settled with this make shift tree. I don't know what it is but it's plastic! Best kind!

So my brother, his girlfriend and my sister (as well as the dog) decided to camp out in the garden last night and being up at the early time of 1am (and looking out my window, they were up too watching DVDs - not as old fashioned as camping back in the day!) I decided I'd sneak out and scare themDid I succeed?
After donning (that's right, donning!) my jacket I left the front door and round to the back of the house where their tent was pitched up- during this time they decided to turn the laptop off and fall asleep (which made it better for me to sneak around). Getting down on all fours I started tugging the tent and making the odd scratch (play innocently) until they wake up. Once I had their attention, my tugging became to sniffing and heavier pulling of the tent. Most people would get out and see what small animal is making the noise (if they even fell for it in the first place) but my brother is easily scared (he can't watch horror movies on his own - refer to Most Haunted incident).
Every so often he would hit the side of the tent and I would stay still for a while (this was usually accompanied by Helen going "I don't like it, I want to go inside!") With each pull or sniff or tug I made they would feel a little more uncomfortable until they sent out the dog. Misty came and sat right next to me where I pinched her ear slightly to make her yelp. At this point my brother was pretty scared and did phoned up my Dad who was sleeping.
"Can you come down?... there's something trying to get into the tent!... it's banging and scratching!"
My Dad came down, saw it was me and played along shouting "Go away!" and "Shoo!" (all the various go away phrases!) When the door opened my sister and Helen got out quickly and asked my Dad what it was.
"Funny little thing... on four legs... skinny with funny hair..."
Was my opportunity to stand up and a few minutes later my brother threw a piece of bread at me!
