New Year would usually see myself and Steve (totally49) watching various TV shows and playing video games until the New Year passed when we would look at each other 5 minutes late and say 'oh yeah I forgot... Happy New Year'... (with the exception of the time we went to Souter's for new year and watched Ian pwn on Dance Dance Revolution) Being a gazillion miles away means that isn't gonna happen this year so I apologise in advance if I don't turn up at your door.

Anyways I was in the shower trying to think of a a few 'best of's' I could put on here that really defined 2007... I couldn't really think of many so maybe I'll have another shower and think of some more.

So I woke up and finally remembered what I was meant to write about! I was watching The Simple Life one evening when this message came up:

So I see a lot of adverts on TV and I always see someone famous doing voiceovers or those silly shampoo ads! It's always a woman! ...or Bob Hoskins! but that's understandable... anyway when Lewis (lew_v1) told me that Matthew Fox was doing some sort of ad for something or another I just had to see it! Many hours I waited watching dull programs about Golden Balls and not so dull programs about Meerkats when it came on!

'OMGEE!' I said, 'that rocked!' although there was nobody there to say it to!

If a Davie speaks and nobody is there to hear him does he really speak at all??

Anyway, it had everything in! Boxing! Car Driving and Matthew Fox talking about his daily routine and acting lifestyle!

'I got to get me some of that!' I cried (or did I?)

Any months of not very hard searching I bumped into a pack of the stuff at Publix and for $5 I thought I might as well grab some as I left all my smelly/deoderant stuff in England (it was just too much to bring)!

Anyway, it's amazing! You should get some!

So i've been having the busiest week in the history of doing stuff... and I thought I'd get it easy after last weeks assignments and interviews we had! I can't really complain because most of the week has generally been busy hanging around with people and doing stuff.

Monday (after the longest day at University all week- including a progress check as boring as sin) saw the very first Poker Night where we played for money (a £5 buy in). We got a few first-timers as well including Lewis (lew_v1) (who came 4th- very close with me until Adam told him to go all in) and David Stenton who was the first out.

Luckily for me I came third and won my money back however I coulda come first (K) or second (Adam and Phil) and won some profit (even if Adam only won £2.50). Afterwards Lewis made us (well... me because he fell asleep) watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I chose the episode that had John Ritter in! (because John Ritter rocks!).

Tuesday was a pretty funky day because I got to finally visit Noodle Inn (much to Adam's recommendation) so Me, himself, Steve (totally49) and Aaron took off sometime during the night. I had Chicken and Noodles and it managed to fill me up no problem! Steve had Crispy Pork! and we imagined what K would have been like if he were there. We were pretty much the only non-Asians there so I'm guessin' not many people know of it's existence even though it was pretty packed!.

Afterwards, Me, Steve and Aaron came back to my flat and (this was about 8pm) and in a show of geeky-ness... (mainly driven by the fact it was the last Stargate episode ever... ugh Stargate) we talked about sci-fi and tv shows/Indiana Jones until the epic time of 3 o'clock in the morning.

The very next day... myself and Steve trekked down to town where I had a Simon Andrews lecture sometime in the early morning (not too early to be fair!) and due to Lewis not wanting to go home early we lingered around afterwards in the hope that Steve would call. After grabbin' a Subway we went to Centertainment and decided to have a couple of games of bowling (I came second in the first round and last in the second) but it was Lewis that made the comeback from third in the first round and first in the last!.

Afterwards we went to see Norbit because there was nothing else on..... *sigh*.... but I did convice Aaron to have a Core Sunday so that's a win for me! I reckon Steve will be the next one due to the fact that he was going to get one last time and they're so darn tasty!

Who do you prefer?

So in an effort to grow stubble like Foxie over there <-- I've been well... growing some stubble. However... desperate times call for desperate measures and I decided to have a good ol' shave this morning! The last week of Uni is full of student-teacher interviews that I need to look my best for and the nice clean shave looks like I'm making an effort... although the stubble looks like I'm busy working and not saving... meh... figure out the logic! Plus if I shave it grows out more evenly so makes sense... I'll still keep the ticker on!

Last night before I went to bed I decided to pop in The Lake House for some good ol' Keanu Reeves love action. (Ok so there's not much action in it!). Not being in the cinema made it a little more exciting because even though I knew what was going to happen I couldn't help but think "Don't cross the bloody road Keanu! Don't cross!"... but whether he did or not? well you'll have to watch the movie or look up spoilers somewhere...

Having just watched a movie with Keanu and Sandra Bullock in I decided to put on Speed just so I could imagine that after The Lake House finished they both got onto a bus and there's a bomb! Needless to say I never realised how cheesy it was and fell asleep.
